Meet the Simons

After nearly 60 years of running the family hardware business in Vian, Oklahoma, the Simon family was blessed with the opportunity to purchase Pine Cove Marina. With little to no experience in the marina business, outside of Joe Paul’s employment at the marina in his teenage years, they understood the task would be a challenging one. With the help of the amazing boaters, the Simon family is now nearly 15 years into owning and operating Pine Cove Marina!

We visited Tenkiller for a weekend getaway before the busy summer season. It was hard to find a place with availability on a Monday. Pine Cove was open and their staff were so outgoing and friendly. The shop at that marina has everything you need if you left something at home, or like us, were there for an impromptu boat outing. The tritoon they rented us was it top shape. Highly recommend. We will be back.

My wife and kids decided to celebrate my birthday by renting a pontoon boat for the day. We had an amazing time. Kids want to add it to the family “all time favorite list” of fun things to do. We rented a tube and I personally had a blast flipping my teenage kids off that crazy tube as they shot like a rocket across the wake. Not the best for my wife’s nerves, but the kids loved it😃. VERY NICE, brand new boats to rent. Helpful, friendly staff. Clean bathrooms and grounds. Nice restaurant on site. All around great experience!

Best place to have a boat on Tenkiller. Good food at the restaurant and easy in and out to fill up. They have a well stocked store and the staff is ways there to help. Boat rentals and plenty of camping close to the marina as well.
